Prime Minister receives President of International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations
VGP - The Government of Viet Nam commits to working with foreign and domestic partners to create favorable condition for economic, trade and service activities, especially logistics development.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh made the remarks at a reception on Wednesday for President of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) Ivan Petrov.
Pham expressed thanks to the FIATA for its bridging role in fostering collaboration between Viet Nam's logistics business community and logistics business community and associations in the world, thus helping to reduce expenditures and costs and increasing competitiveness of Viet Nam's economy.
He appreciated the FIATA's support for the Viet Nam Logistics Business Association to host the FIATA World Congress in Ha Noi in 2025.
The Vietnamese leader suggested FIATA leaders advocate and closely coordinate with Viet Nam's relevant agencies to successfully organize the event.
He urged the FIATA to bolster collaboration with Viet Nam and assist the nation in building the logistics service strategy until 2035 with a vision to 2045.
