Prime Minister meets Polish President on sidelines of WEF meeting in China
VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Polish President Andrzej Duda on the sidelines of the 15th World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting of the New Champions in Dalian city, Liaoning province, on June 25.
Pham reiterated that Viet Nam attaches importance to developing the traditional friendship and multi-faceted cooperation with Poland.
Viet Nam will facilitate the import of Poland's advantageous products such as machinery and ships, the Prime Minister said.
He suggested both sides soon sign a loan agreement for a deal concerning supply of six sea-going search and rescue vessels to Viet Nam and cooperate in human resource training.
The Polish President, for his side, spoke highly of Viet Nam's socio-economic development achievements, adding that Viet Nam is currently the biggest trade partner of Poland in Southeast Asia.
He expected that Viet Nam will create favorable conditions for Polish businesses to export products to Viet Nam as well as strengthen collaboration in new areas such as renewable energy and tourism.
Both sides pledged to lift the ties to a new height in the upcoming time./.
