Le affirmed that Viet Nam always places importance on strengthening and developing relations with traditional partners, of which Estonia is a priority partner in the Baltic region and an active member of the EU.

Le proposed that the two sides step up all-level delegation exchanges, especially high-level ones, to strengthen political trust and create substantive progress in economic, trade, and investment cooperation, striving to further increase bilateral trade turnover in the coming period.

He called on Estonia to raise its voice to encourage the remaining EU countries to soon ratify the EU–Viet Nam Investment Protection Agreement (EVIPA), thereby contributing to creating breakthroughs in bilateral trade and investment ties.

The host suggested Estonia support efforts to urge the European Commission to soon lift the "yellow card" warning against Viet Nam's seafood exports and actively implement key pillars of the bilateral relationship in digital transformation, digital economy, and innovation as well as foster stronger ties in defense and security, education, and training.

He hailed Estonia's advantages in technology, AI, innovation, and digital transformation, proposing Estonia increase the sharing of experience, transfer of technology, and support for Viet Nam in these priority areas, focusing on the development of e-government, comprehensive digital transformation, construction and operation of data centers, and cybersecurity and information security.

Le called on both countries to promote cooperation in robotics technology, smart manufacturing, industrial automation, and application of AI, contributing to improving labor productivity and the competitiveness of Viet Nam's economy.

Tsahkna, for his part, reiterated that Estonia treasures its relationship with Viet Nam, regarding Viet Nam as one of its most important partners in Southeast Asia, and wishes to strengthen close cooperation, bringing the traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation between the two nations towards a more practical and effective manner.

Estonia will assist Viet Nam in training and developing high-quality human resources, especially in information technology, digital economy, and AI, emphasized the guest./.
