To hailed the positive outcomes in the bilateral relations, especially as the two countries are carrying out various practical activities to celebrate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the second anniversary of their comprehensive strategic partnership.
He expressed Viet Nam's desire to work with the U.S. to continue implementing the comprehensive strategic partnership towards a more substantive and in-depth manner, based on the fundamental principles of mutual respect for independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and political systems, in line with Viet Nam's foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, diversification, and multilateralization.
The Viet Nam–U.S. comprehensive strategic partnership has become a model in international relations, demonstrating that nations can overcome the past to build a future of cooperation and friendship on the basis of trust, mutual respect, and shared interests.
He suggested that both sides continue to work closely together to effectively implement the agreed agenda, promote reciprocal visits at all levels, and jointly promote peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.
The Party chief acknowledged the efforts of Ambassador Marc E. Knapper and the staff of the U.S. Embassy in effectively implementing high-level agreements and areas of cooperation within the framework of the Viet Nam–U.S. comprehensive strategic partnership across all fields, including politics and foreign affairs, economy–trade–investment, defense–security, humanitarian cooperation, and war legacy remediation.
Viet Nam identifies the private sector as a key driving force of the national economy, he noted, affirming that Viet Nam will continue to build a favorable investment environment for U.S. enterprises to invest in the country, while encouraging more Vietnamese enterprises to invest in the U.S., thereby bringing mutual benefits and creating jobs for their peoples.
The development of science and technology, innovation, and national digital transformation is among Viet Nam's top strategic breakthroughs to achieve sustainable growth, shared the leader.
He proposed that both sides continue to strengthen cooperation in key and high-priority sectors such as science and technology, the semiconductor industry, energy industry, and digital transformation.

Knapper, for his part, reiterated that the Trump Administration attaches great importance to the Viet Nam–U.S. comprehensive strategic partnership, expecting that the two countries will continue strengthening collaboration in a substantive and in-depth manner, delivering tangible benefits to their peoples.
The U.S. highly values Viet Nam's foreign policy of independence and self-reliance, and consistently supports Viet Nam in enhancing its growing role and influence in promoting peace and cooperation in the region and the world, said the diplomat.
He emphasized that a "strong, independent, prosperous, and resilient" Viet Nam makes a positive contribution to regional and global peace and stability, which is advocated by the U.S.
The Ambassador appreciated Viet Nam's practical measures to foster a balanced and sustainable trade ties between the two countries.
American businesses and partners place great importance on economic, trade, and investment cooperation with Viet Nam, recognizing the country as one of the key partners in global supply chains and a market offering vast opportunities for U.S. products and services, underlined Knapper.
The diplomat expressed sincere thanks to the General Secretary for providing valuable guidance and directions on key priorities for advancing the Viet Nam–U.S. relations in the coming period.
He pledged to make every effort, in his role, to encourage relevant U.S. agencies to work closely with Viet Nam in effectively implementing the agreements reached by senior leaders and ensure the successful realization of the comprehensive strategic partnership across all established pillars./.
