Le Minh Hung leads Party Central Committee’s Organization Commission

VGP - The Politburo on Thursday assigned Chief of the Party Central Committee (PCC) Office Le Minh Hung as new Chairman of PCC’s Organization Commission, replacing his predecessor Truong Thi Mai.

Chairman of the Party Central Committee's Organization Commission and Chief of the Party Central Committee's Office Le Minh Hung

Le is one of the four new Politburo members who were elected by the PCC on the same day. The other three members are Nguyen Trong Nghia, Bui Thi Minh Hoai, and Do Van Chien.

Le, 54, came from Huong Son district of the central province of Ha Tinh. He is a member of the 12th and 13th Party Central Committee.

He had over 20-year experience at the State Bank of Viet Nam.

In April 2016, he was appointed SBV Governor at the age of 46, becoming the youngest-ever head of the central bank.

In November 2021, he was assigned by the Politburo to be Chief of the Party Central Committee's Office./.
