Next year's Lunar New Year holiday may span 9 days
VGP - The 2025 Lunar New Year holiday could last for nine days, according to the latest proposal by the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs.

The proposal has been presented for feedback from ministries and central agencies before being submitted to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval.
If approved by the Prime Minister, the Lunar New Year holiday will span from Saturday, January 25, 2025 to Sunday February 2, 2025.
The 2024 Lunar New Year holiday lasted seven days from February 8-14, 2024.
