Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau, new Deputy Minister of National Defense
Nguyen, aged 58, assumes the new role from his previous position as the Secretary of Bac Ninh provincial Party Committee.
The Ministry of National Defense is led by General Phan Van Giang, who is assisted by General Trinh Van Quyet, General Nguyen Tan Cuong, Senior Lieutenant General Vo Minh Luong, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien, Senior Lieutenant General Le Huy Vinh, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San, Senior Lieutenant General Pham Hoai Nam, Lieutenant General Nguyen Truong Thang, Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Hien, Lieutenant General Nguyen Quang Ngoc and Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau as Deputy Ministers./.
