In the reviewed period, Chinese Taipei was the largest recipient of Vietnamese laborers  with   19,350 (including 6,486 females); followed by Japan with 19,051 (8,235 female workers); China with 1,425 laborers, the Republic of Korea with 702, Romania with 609, Singapore with 454, and Hungary with 403.

The ministry expected to send 90,000 laborers to work abroad in 2021, mainly to high and stable income countries.

Last year, Viet Nam sent 78,641 workers abroad, including more than 28,700 female workers./.
