National Assembly’s fourth session wraps up
VGP - The 15th National Assembly (NA) concluded its fourth session in Ha Noi on November 15.
Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong, President Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue and NA delegates attended the closing ceremony.
During the 21-day working session, the Legislature adopted six laws namely the Law on the Implementation of Democracy at Grassroots Level, the Law on Domestic Violence and Control, the Inspection Law, the Petroleum Law, the Law on Anti-Money Laundering and the Law amending and supplementing some articles of the Law on Radio Frequencies.
As many as 13 resolutions were approved during the session, including the Resolution on socio-economic development plan for 2023, the Resolution on the State budget estimate for 2023, the Resolution on speeding up the implementation of policies and laws on thrift practice and anti-waste, and the Resolution piloting several specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Buon Ma Thuot city in the Central Highlands province of Dak Lak.
NA delegates agreed to add holders' place of birth information in the new version of the Vietnamese passport (blue cover).
