NA Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue leaves Ha Noi for AIPA-44
VGP - Chairman of the Vietnamese National Assembly Vuong Dinh Hue left Ha Noi on August 4 for Jakarta to attend the 44th General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA-44).
These visits are made at the invitation of Speaker of the Indonesian House of Representatives and AIPA President Puan Maharani.
The presence of the NA Chairman at the AIPA-44 in Indonesia indicates Viet Nam's consistent pursuance of its policy of proactive, comprehensive, and extensive international integration.
It also looks to promote Viet Nam's priorities and enhance the country's role and position at regional and global parliamentary cooperation mechanisms, contributing to the concerted diplomatic efforts by the Party and State serving the nation's and people's interests.
Following his participation in the AIPA-44, the top Vietnamese legislator will pay official visits to Indonesia and Iran with a view to further implementing the foreign policy directions of the 13th National Party Congress, proactively consolidating and expanding the political relations, and promoting effective cooperation between Viet Nam and the two countries in all areas and on all channels of the party, national assembly, government, and people-to-people exchanges.
The visits also target enhancing mutual trust with traditional partner countries and friends, as well as building and fortifying the relationships between the top leaders of Viet Nam and the two countries./.
