MONRE proposes tiger conservation program
VGP – The Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment is drafting a decision on approving the national tiger conservation program through 2022 which will be submitted to the Prime Minister for approval.

Besides, there are some 112 tigers being bred by households.
The program targets to raise the number of wild tigers through enhancing management and protection of natural environment for them, closely supervising tiger raising and identifying a priority site for tiger conservation.
The system of tiger registration and management of tigers bred by households will also be set up.
The program also sets solutions for preventing and dealing with violations against tiger conservation.
