Vietnamese tigers are in danger of being totally wiped out

Currently, there are around 28-47 tigers living in remote forests across Vietnam. They are in danger of being wiped out by hunters and traffickers.

Besides, there are some 112 tigers being bred by households.

The program targets to raise the number of wild tigers through enhancing management and protection of natural environment for them, closely supervising tiger raising and identifying a priority site for tiger conservation.

The system of tiger registration and management of tigers bred by households will also be set up.

The program also sets solutions for preventing and dealing with violations against tiger conservation.
