ICC General Secretary vows to help Viet Nam’s businesses expand globally
VGP - State President Luong Cuong on October 30 had a meeting with Secretary General of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) John Denton within the framework of the 32nd APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Gyeongju, South Korea.

Denton expressed his admiration for Viet Nam's economic development journey as well as the goals the country has set for its future growth.
He congratulated the Government of Viet Nam on its practical initiatives to support businesses, particularly the establishment of an international financial center in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang to create favorable conditions for enterprise development.
The ICC stands ready to cooperate and assist Viet Nam on its development path, especially in helping Vietnamese businesses expand globally, as the nation is preparing to host APEC in 2027, affirmed the ICC leader.
Luong, for his side, reiterated that Viet Nam always treasures its cooperative relationship with the ICC - the world's largest business organization.
The Vietnamese President hailed the ICC's role in developing international trade standards, promoting trade and investment liberalization, and strengthening the multilateral trading system.
He urged the ICC to continue accompanying and supporting Vietnamese small and medium-sized enterprises in enhancing their integration capacity and participating more deeply in global value chains via the sharing of ICC's tools, standards, and practical experiences.
Viet Nam stands ready to be an active and proactive partner with the ICC in regional and global initiatives, thereby contributing to the promotion of an open, fair, and sustainable international trading system, for peace, prosperity, and opportunities for all, underlined the Vietnamese leader.
The same day, Luong had meetings with Chairman of Lotte Group Shin Dong-bin and founder of China's MEBO International Group Li Li./.
