Ho Chi Minh City to set off fireworks on National Day

VGP - Fireworks will light up the sky of Ho Chi Minh City on September 2 to mark the 79th anniversary of the National Day (September 2, 1945-September 2, 2024).

Accordingly, high-altitude fireworks will be displayed at the Sai Gon River tunnel while low-altitude fireworks at Dam Sen cultural park from 9:00 PM to 9:15 PM on September 2.

In addition, art programs, including a boat race on the Saigon River and a special music gala on Nguyen Hue pedestrian street from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. will be held on the same day.

A photo exhibition, organized by the HCM City Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, is underway from August 16 to September 6, featuring the history of the southern city and its development achievements in many fields.

Main streets around the southern metropolis will be colorfully decorated in celebration of National Day.
