Health ministry confirms 15,935 COVID-19 cases

VGP – There were additional 15,935 COVID-19 cases over the last 24 hours, bringing the national caseload to 2,110,737, the Ministry of Health just reported.

The same day, the ministry reported 2,256 recoveries, taking the total number of recovered cases to 1,797,180.

The ministry also announced further 177 fatalities, raising the nation's COVID-19 death toll to 36,443 or 1.7 percent of the total infections.

The nation has administered 173,708,365 COVID-19 vaccine doses, an increase of 1,151,381 doses from Thursday./.
