During his inspection tour on January 29, Pham checked some construction sites and visited the resettlement area for the locals who had to be relocated to give land for the road at Long Binh-Long Thanh My ward of Thu Duc city.

He assigned the local authorities of HCMC and Thu Duc city to promptly complete procedures to provide land for relocated residents, and speed up the construction of infrastructures in the resettlement area.

The Belt Road No.3 project has a total length of 76km, connecting HCMC, Binh Duong, Dong Nai and Long An provinces.

It has a total investment of about VND 75.37 trillion (US$3.21 billion USD), sourced from the central and local budget.

It is expected to open to traffic in June, 2026, looking toward creating a big competitive advantage for the southern economic region with over 20 million people./.
