Gov’t chief inspects key road projects in Dong Thap
VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Sunday made field trips to several agricultural production facilities and transport projects in the Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap.

He visited the construction site of the Cao Lanh-An Huu Expressway. The first phase of the project involves construction of 27.43km with total investment capital of about about US$247.47 million.
The project should be completed before December 2025, he said, asking its investor and contractors to ensure the progress and quality of the project, as well as workplace safety and environmental hygiene.
The Government chief also inspected the project on upgrading National Highway 30 in Cao Lanh - the capital city of Dong Thap province.
Earlier on August 12, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh embarked on a field trip to the Mekong Delta to examine dykes in Ca Mau, Kien Giang, An Giang and Dong Thap provinces.
The field trip was followed by a working session with leaders of several ministries, sectors and localities on the erosion of river banks and coastlines as well as efforts to overcome the erosion and flooding in the Delta region./.
