These bills are the Capital Law (revised), draft Law on Road Traffic Order Safety, draft Road Traffic Law, and draft Law on Defense Industry, Industry Security and Encouragement.

The event drew the attendance of Secretary of the Ha Noi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai, ministers and ministerial-level leaders.

Since the beginning of this tenure, the Government has held 19 law-building sessions, while submitting 35 draft laws, ordinances and resolutions to the National Assembly for approval.

In addition, the Government have issued more than 400 legal documents.

Law building and perfection have contributed to removing difficulties and obstacles and establishing a legal corridor for new issues, said Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.

Prime Minister Pham tasked the participants to focus on discussing the bills in the direction of strengthening decentralization and delegation of power, resource allocation and less administrative procedures.

He also asked for close coordination among relevant agencies during the process of law-making.

The Government chief also urged participants to ensure the progress and quality of the session.

Earlier, on July 26, the Government debated amendments to the Law on Human Trafficking Prevention and Control, Law on Special Consumption Tax, Law on Property Auction, and Law on Social Insurance, as well as global minimum tax and non-tax incentives for investors./.
