Gov't announces days off for public holidays in 2025

VGP - The Prime Minister has decided that public employees and workers shall be entitled to have 22 days off in 2025, an increase of five days in comparision to last year.

Specifically, there will be nine days off for the Lunar New Year holiday, from January 25 to February 2, 2025.

On the occasion of the Reunification Day and International Labor Day, public employees and workers shall get five days off, from April 30 to May 4, 2025.  

On the occasion of the Independence Day (September 2), they shall be entitled to four days of, starting on August 30 to September 2, 2025.

For the Hung Kings Anniversary, they shall get three days off, from April 5-7.   

Foreign employees working in Viet Nam, in addition to public holidays according to the above regulations, are entitled to one traditional public holiday and one National Day in their country./.
