Kishida said he hopes to work together with the Vietnamese leader to elevate the Viet Nam-Japan relationship to a new height in the time ahead.

National Secretary of the French Communist Party Fabien Roussel said under To’s leadership, Viet Nam will continue its socio-economic development path, and efforts for peace and stability in the region and the world.

The Mexican Communist Party Central Committee also extended congratulations to Party General Secretary and President To Lam, and hoped for stronger relations between the two Parties.

A statement with signatures of Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega and Vice President Rosario Murillo stated that the Sandinista National Liberation Front, the vanguard of the Sandinista People’s Revolution, is bound in ideal and values to Vietnamese communists, and to comrade To Lam, the head of the Vietnamese State, the Vietnamese people and the glorious Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV).

Cambodian King Norodom Sihamoni expressed his firm belief that under To Lam's leadership, the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam will attain many great achievements, develop rapidly in all fields, and maintain the country's important role in the region and the world.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin held that the results of the CPV Central Committee's meeting fully affirm To's high political prestige, proving his contributions in ensuring socio-economic development and raising the country's position in the international arena.
