On behalf of the Cambodian People's Party Central Committee, he expressed his joy and congratulations to Comrade To Lam on his election as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam at the meeting of the 13th Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam on August 3, 2024.
Comrade To Lam's election as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam demonstrates the trust of the Communist Party of Viet Nam and the entire Vietnamese people in his capabilities and sound leadership, he wrote.
In his message, Hun Sen firmly expressed his belief that under Comrade To Lam's leadership, the Communist Party of Viet Nam will continue to achieve its goals, ensure political stability and socio-economic development, and maintain peace, stability and prosperity of Viet Nam and the region as well.
During comrade To Lam's leadership term, the Cambodian leader expected that the traditional friendship, solidarity, and close cooperation between the two Parties will be further deepened for the benefit of two nations and people./.
