Deputy PM receives Vice President of Huawei Asia Pacific

The Deputy PM hailed Huawei's global business outcomes and achievements in market development and diversification of products and services, as well as the tech giant's operation in Viet Nam.
The Vietnamese Government expects foreign investors, including those from China to pour more investment in such priority areas as digital transformation, green conversion, telecommunications and artificial intelligence, he shared.
For his part, Zhang said, Huawei has been investing in Viet Nam since 1998 and signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation with Viet Nam's Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology to train 10,000 ICT engineers over the next five years.
Zhang expressed his wish that Huawei could join Viet Nam's efforts in developing the 5G network, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and green transition in Viet Nam./.
