Both sides expressed their satisfaction at the substantive development in the Viet Nam-Japan relations, with the historical landmark of lifting the ties to a comprehensive strategic partnership in November last year.

Le expressed his hope that the House of Representatives and Nukaga Fukushiro will continue facilitating cooperation and exchanges between the two legislative bodies, and enhancing all-level delegation exchanges.

He called on Japan to support Viet Nam to build an independent and self-reliant economy, effectively participate in global supply chains, and deploy new-generation Official Development Assistance (ODA) with high incentives and flexible procedures for large-scale strategic infrastructure development projects in the Southeast Asian country.

The guest suggested the National Diet of Japan to advocate the two countries in strengthening human resource cohesion and labor cooperation and purpose policies to support the Vietnamese community in the country.

Nukaga Fukushiro highlighted the importance and necessity of fostering Viet Nam-Japan friendship and economic cooperation in the new situation.

Japan expects to work with Viet Nam in building qualified infrastructure, he emphasized.

The host asserted that the House of Representatives advocates the linkages of both sides via various channels, especially the parliamentary channel and human resource training for the sake of both sides.

The Japanese Government will launch a policy to improve living and working standards for the Vietnamese workers in the country in the context of depreciation of the Japanese currency, he shared.

Le is in Japan for a working visit and the 29th Nikkei Forum Future of Asia.
