The event saw the participation of Deputy Minister of Planning and Investment Do Thanh Trung, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang, Deputy Foreign Minister Do Hung Viet, among others.

Addressing the event, Tran expressed thanks to the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI), Gujarat's authorities, and partners for organizing the event, saying it will make contributions to promoting the bilateral economic, trade and investment ties.

Tran highlighted the crucial role of the two nations' businesses in promoting the bilateral economic ties, adding that both sides target to raise their trade value to US$20 billion.

However, the economic ties are not on par with the potential of both countries, he said, adding that there are ample rooms and potentials to make breakthrough development in the field, especially in green economy and circular economy, digital transformation, software industry, semiconductor, and artificial intelligence.
