The international hot-air balloon festival in Quy Nhon

The festival, themed "Quy Nhon, Binh Dinh – Sea Paradise", will take place from April 25 to May 5. This is the first time the hot air balloon festival has been held in Binh Dinh.

It allows locals and visitors from across the country and the world to comtemplate the beautiful hot-air balloons in various colors and sizes.

The event is also a chance for visitors to discover exciting and new experiences as they can ride on hot-air balloons to see the entire scene of the beautiful Quy Nhon City.

There are two forms for participants to select from, including free-flying and anchored services.

Specifically, free flight is held at 6;00 am o'clock daily, carrying two passengers with the pilot each time. Hot air balloons fly at an altitude of 300-500m and sprint 5-10km from the take-off point. Each flight lasts 45-60 minutes in weather conditions without rain and wind speed above 15km/h.

Meanwhile, "anchored" hot-air balloons are also arranged at the ground for visitors to experience daily from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, each carrying 2-3 passengers and one pilot. Each flight lasts 5 minutes in weather conditions without rain and wind speeds below 8km/h./.
