Deputy PM Nguyễn Xuân Phúc made the statement on December 27 when attending the 4th Congress of the Vietnamese Young Entrepreneurs Association.

The Deputy PM said, upholding the slogan “Young Entrepreneurs – Great Ambitions,” young businesspeople should enrich knowledge and spare no efforts to overcome difficulties, build up proper production and business strategies and enhance their trademarks, further improve managerial skills, increase the application of scientific and technological advances, and take the lead in mobilizing the strength of young human resources for national socio-economic development.

The two-day congress wrapped up on December 27, defining three action plans, namely young entrepreneurs setting up business, building up corporate culture and social responsibility, and developing the Việt Nam Young Entrepreneurs Association.

During the Congress, Red Star Awards were given to 10 enterprises run by young entrepreneurs, which made total revenues of VND 64 trillion in 2010, and created over 10,600 jobs.
