Warsaw fire inflicts losses on Vietnamese traders
VGP - The Vietnamese Embassy in Poland has taken steps to carry out citizen protection as fire destroyed one of the biggest shopping centers in Warsaw, according to Vietnamese Ambassador to Poland Hoang Ha Hai.
Reuters reported that a major fire erupted at the center on Saturday night, destroying a large part of the facility. Home to almost 1,400 commercial units, including numerous kiosks, the 44 Marywilska is one of the largest shopping centers in Warsaw, hosting over 460 stalls run by Vietnamese traders.
So far, there was no casualty, but almost all properties were destroyed.
As soon as learning about the incident, the Vietnamese Embassy sent a working group to the shopping center to carry out citizen protection.
Chairman of the Vietnamese Association in Poland Tran Tuan Anh said that his association is actively coordinating with the embassy to obtain information, visit people whose stalls were damaged in the fire and call for donations to support them./.
