PM NguyenTan Dung, Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam, and Minister of Public Security Tran Dai Quang attended the ceremony among distinguished guests.

Addressing the event, Deputy PM Vu Duc Dam hoped that VTV would soon become a strong, influential communication consortium, capable of competing internationally.

He also hoped that VTV would produce more attractive programs encouraging the birth of new role models and those that criticize negative behaviors in favor of national interests.

VTV General Director Tran Binh Minh said that VTV is striving to catch up with standards of other peers in the Asia-Pacific Region by 2020 and become one of the leading television broadcasters in the region./.
