VN, Myanmar agree visa exemption
VGP – An agreement on visa exemption for ordinary passport holders between the Governments of Viet Nam and Myanmar will come into effect on October 26, 2013.
According to the agreement, the two countries' holders of ordinary passports which are still valid for at least six months will be exempted from visas before entering or leaving the other nation and can stay no longer than 14 days.
If he or she wants to stay more than 14 days, she or he has to ask for entry visa before entering the nation.
Until now, Vietnamese citizens with ordinary passports are exempted from visas before entering and leaving from nine nations of ASEAN.
