VN wins ABU Robocon
VGP – Viet Nam won the ABU Robocon after beating Hong Kong in the finale in Indonesia on Sunday.

The Vietnamese team defeated Egypt, Kazakhstan, Japan and Indonesia to enter the final round. They won persuasive finale against Hong Kong with score 5-1.
This was the first time the Vietnamese team from the Hung Yen University of Technology and Education has participated in an international-level contest and the second consecutive year and the fifth time Robocon Viet Nam representative won the championship title.
Earlier, the Robocon Viet Nam team from the Viet Nam National Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology won the championship in 2002, 2004, and 2006 and the other team from Lac Hong University walked away with the crown in 2014.
Under the title “Robominton-Badminton RoboGam,” the contest drew the attendance of 19 teams from 18 countries and territories.The Indonesian and Thai teams shared third place./.
