VN to organize CAFEO 28 in December
VGP – Under the title “Engineering and Technology for a Better Quality of Life”, the 28th Conference of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organizations (CAFEO 28) will take place between November 30 and December 4 in Hà Nội.

Around 500 professional technicians in and outside ASEAN will take part in CAFEO 28 hosted by the Việt Nam Union of Science and Technology.
Especially, the engineer organizations of the US, Japan, the Republic of Korea, Australia, China, India, German and India, the World Federation of Engineering Organization (WFEO), and the ASEAN Academy of Engineering and Technology (AAET) will join the conference.
Excellent technical reports will be delivered at CAFEO 28 on five major topics namely (1) engineering and technology for buildings and infrastructures; (2) environmental engineering and technology; (3) energy, mechanical, electrical engineering and information technology; (4) education and training of engineers; (5) engineering and technology for health, safety and management.
CAFEO 28 will comprise other activities such as technical exhibitions, study tours to big construction and production sites of Việt Nam, and cultural tours.
The conference will help delegates to exchange information and experience of scientific applications and seek business opportunities.
CAFEO has been held annually since 1982 and is hosted alternately by the 10 ASEAN member countries./.
