As many as 245 delegates from 43 countries and territories will officially attend the conference.

The conference will last for three main sitting sessions and four days of field trips in Hà Nội, the Ninh Bình and Quảng Ninh Provinces.

On the occasion, there will be two photo exhibitions - the FIAP young photo one and another displaying more than 100 prize-winning works by Vietnamese photographers.

The conference is expected to assert the status and role of Việt Nam’s photography in the world as well as create a chance to introduce Việt Nam’s image, life, economic, culture and people.

Việt Nam became an official member of FIAP in 1991. Now, nearly 300 Vietnamese photographers are members of FIAP and 141 ones were conferred with FIAP titles.
