VN to host ASEAN Children's Forum

The event creates an opportunity for children to have their voices heard and their messages delivered to ministers and officials in charge of social welfare in ASEAN.

The forum is held in the context that the ASEAN Community was officially formed on December 31, 2015 with commitments to protecting human rights, promoting social welfare, heading to a friendly ASEAN Community and contributing to a community centering around its people with a sense of social responsibility.

Within four days, children aging from 12-18 from 10 nations in ASEAN will discuss and express their points of views on prevention of children trafficking and violence.
