On behalf of the PM, Chief Government Inspector Trần Văn Truyền inked the decision for the establishment of the working group.

The group will have the right to request relevant offices and units to provide information and facilitate investigation process if necessary.

The Government Inspectorate will responsible for assisting the PM to run the working group.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs will help guild diplomatic activities.

It was reported that PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on April ratified the Plan on Implementation of the United Nation Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) to undertake the country’s full responsibilities as a party to the UNCAC. Accordingly, the Government will improve regulations on organization and operation of anti-corruption agencies and give them more power and independence in handling corruption cases.
