VN strives to be a math power
VGP - Under a national math development program recently approved by the Government, Việt Nam will invest VND 651 billion from 2010 to 2020, mainly in maths research, application and lectures, to increase its ranking in the world to the 40th from the current 50-55.
The program is to improve the quality and scale of training math talents
at secondary schools.

The number of internationally announced math publications is expected to
double the figure in 2010.
