VN responds to World Environment Day
VGP – Viet Nam has paid attention to sustainable development and green economy, reflecting it on national socio-economic development plans, projects, and strategies.

Deputy PM Hoang Trung Hai made that statement at a national meeting in response to the World Environment Day in the northern province of Vinh Phuc.
With the theme “Responsible consumption for a sustainable earth”, the Deputy PM proposed ministries, agencies and organizations take realistic activities to actively respond to the World Environment Day in particular and join hands in protecting the environment, in general.
United Nations Development Program (UNDP) Country Director Louise Chamberlain spoke highly of what the Vietnamese Government has done in protecting the environment.
The event attracted the participation of more than 1,500 people.
A number of activities were held nationwide to celebrate the World Environment Day.
