VN-Korea Business Forum held in Hà Nội

VGP - State officials and representatives from 80 firms of the Republic of Korea and Việt Nam have participated in the 2010 Việt Nam–Korea Business Forum recently held in Hà Nội by the Việt Nam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with the Korean Trade–Investment Promotion Agency.

Representatives of 40 Vietnamese economic groups and corporations operating in such fields as construction, engineering, garment and textile, and processed foodstuff have partaken in the forum.

The Việt Nam–Korea economic ties have developed ceaselessly in recent years with the two-way trade value surging to US $9.1 billion in 2009. The two countries target the bilateral trade turnover of US $20 billion in 2015.

At the forum, Minister-Chairman of the Government Office Nguyễn Xuân Phúc confirmed that Việt Nam highly appreciates the goodwill of the Korean Government in consistently realizing commitments and agreements to make the bilateral relations better.
