VN joins FAO-funded regional project
VGP - The PM has approved a suggestion on Viet Nam’s participation in a regional project funded by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) via the non-refundable capital.

It aims to support a sustainable growth in aquaculture in the region through enhancing planning and managing more effectively at different levels, contributing to improving daily seafood supply and raising livelihood and economic development opportunities in Asia.
Participants in the project can select tools to address prioritized issues in planning and managing aquaculture; organize training courses on applying tools to plan and manage aquaculture for trainees at national and regional levels and practitioners and farmers at the local level; pilot tools to plan and manage aquaculture; and review the pilot tools in countries taking part in the project.
The PM assigned the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to complete and sign the project with representatives of relevant sides, as well as carry out the project as regulated.
