Viet Nam, Fulbright University spur high-level policy exchange programs
VGP - Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai suggested Viet Nam and Fulbright University would continue high-level policy exchange programs, including the 2024 Viet Nam Executive Leadership Program (VELP) in coming years.

Le made the suggestion during a reception for Director of the Viet Nam Program at Harvard University Prof. Thomas Vallely and experts of the Fulbright University Viet Nam (FUV) in Ha Noi on March 19.
He took the occasion to thank the University and the VLP for close cooperation with the Vietnamese Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoF) to prepare for the VELP which is slated for April.
He said that the 2024 VELP, the flagship international executive program for senior leaders will not only encourage new ideas for Vietnamese agencies to formulate and carry out development policies in line with Viet Nam's conditions but also help the country identify priority areas and outline a roadmap to connect with international resources.
The Deputy Prime Minister reiterated the Vietnamese Government's commitment to continuing support for the University to set up a premier center for quality human resources development in Viet Nam.
In reply, Director Thomas Vallely said that he is looking forward to joining the 2024 VELP with more dynamic and updated content, in line with the current global developments and the evolving landscape of Viet Nam's economy in the next two and three decades.
Economic experts will share insights and ideas on topics regarding renewable energy development, cybersecurity, cloud computing, semiconductor industry, chip manufacturing, global AI, and the prospects for Viet Nam's participation in these value chains at the 2024 VELP./.
