VN confirms 12 new cases of Covid-19
VGP – Viet Nam confirmed 12 new imported cases of Covid-19 on Wednesday afternoon, bringing the patient tally to 1,300.
All of them are Vietnamese returning from Russia, Germany and Canada, according to the National Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control led by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam.
Patients from 1,289 to 1,290 were brought home from Russia on November 11 and quarantined in the south central coastal province of Khanh Hoa.
Patient 1,289 is a 21-year-old man from Ha Noi’s Phuc Tho District.
Patient 1,290 is a 41-year-old woman from Hung Ha District, Thai Binh Province.
They are being treated at the Cam Ranh Regional General Hospital.
Patients from 1,291 to 1,296 were repatriated from Germany on November 8 and quarantined in Ho Chi Minh City.
Patient 1,291 is a 19-year-old man from Minh Hoa District, Quang Binh Province.
Patient 1,291 is a 37-year-old man from Dien Chau District, Nghe An Province.
Patient 1,293 is a 42-year-old man from Kim Bang District, Ha Nam Province.
Patient 1,294 is a 28-year-old man from Yen Thanh District, Nghe An Province.
Patient 1,295 is a 34-year-old woman from Yen Dinh District, Thanh Hoa Province.
Patient 1,296 is a 36-year-old man from Tan Ky District, Nghe An Province.
They are being treated at the Cu Chi field hospital.
Patients from 1,297 to 1,300 flew home from Canada on November 16 and were quarantined in Hai Duong Province.
Patient 1,297 is a 4-year-old woman from Le Chan District, Hai Phong City.
Patient 1,298 is a 32-year-old man from Tan Uyen District, Binh Duong Province.
Patient 1,299 is a 19-year-old man from Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City.
Patient 1,300, aged 16, is native of Ha Long city, Quang Ninh Province.
They are being treated at Hai Duong Hospital for Tropical Diseases.
Of the country’s patient tally, 1,124 have recovered and exited hospitals while 35 others have been reported dead.
