VN Airlines shakes hands with Air France
VGP – Việt Nam Airlines, the Vietnamese national flag carrier, and Air France, its French counterpart, recently sealed an agreement paving the way for the latter to launch additional six direct flights each week from Hà Nội and Hồ Chí Minh City to Paris.

Since July 3, 2010, Air France will exploit A340-300 for three flights from Hà Nội on Monday, Thursday and Saturday and three others from Hồ Chí Minh City on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.
Since November 2010, Air France will launch three non-stop flight between Hồ Chí Minh City and Paris a week by Boeing 747-400 and then Boeing 777-300ER.
Within the terms of this agreement, since November 2010, Việt Nam Airlines will offer new non-stop air route with six flights per week from Hồ Chí Minh City and five one a week from Hà Nội to France.
As Việt Nam Airlines will join SkyTeam in June 2010 of which Air France is one of the founding members, the two carriers will have numerous opportunities to spur cooperation./.
