Vinamilk wins Global Food Industry Award

VGP – Vinamilk, the leading producer of dairy products in Viet Nam, was presented the 2014 Global Food Industry Award by the International Union of Food Science and Technology (IUFoST).

Fluid milk of Vinamilk was nominated by the Association of Food Science and Technology (VAFOST) and IUFoST members to get the award.

Vinamilk beat over 100 competitors from 70 other countries and territories to enter the final round and won the award.

IUFoST President Pingfan Rao said that fluid milk of Vinamilk completely persuaded the broad of examiners by its content creativity and its impressive communication campaign that imparts nutrition knowledge to customers.

The success showed the value of science, technology and investment which helps the community to understand the vital role of milk for the development of children in particular and customers in general, especially in developing countries like Viet Nam, he emphasized.

The award presentation ceremony was held on August 19 in Canada at the 17th World Congress of Food Science and Technology and Expo./.
