VGP - The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has recognized the exclusive patents in the U.S. for two applications of the Viettel High Technology Industries Corporation (VHT), a member of the Viettel Military Industry and Telecoms Group.

It is the invention of “Dual-polarized Wide-Bandwidth Antenna” which offers a compact structure antenna, wide bandwidth enough for high-speed information processing, and “High magnification MWIR continuous zoom system” ensures image quality in a variety of environments, factors that severely affect image acquisition and verification.

The USPTO has granted VHT five exclusive patents in 2021, bringing the total number of VHT's patents to eight.

With eight patents protected exclusively in the U.S. so far, according to the USPTO's list, VHT is a Vietnamese high-tech enterprise with the most U.S. patents, covering all three fields: military, civil and telecommunications sectors. Currently, the number of applications filed by VHT in the U.S. is 39 patents.

Since 2017, VHT has had nearly 300 patent applications, of which the National Office of Intellectual Property (Ministry of Science and Technology) has granted 39 patents and 19 utility solutions.

The US-protected patents are a proof to ensure the success for the firm when entering the international market, said VHT General Director Nguyen Vu Ha, adding that they are novel, practical, and highly applicable solutions in the world, solving existing technical limitations in the field of registration.
