Vietnamese student receives UN award
VGP - Nguyễn Siêu Hạnh, the senior at the Belgian United Business Institute (UBI), has received the World Summit Youth Award.

To win the award, Siêu Hạnh, as the leader of the Global Experience in Việt Nam, together with other members of the Global Experience from many countries in the world, has implemented IT projects to provide a platform for intercultural perspectives, and developed voluntary groups to help poor children in remote areas.
Competing with 700 entries from 99 countries, his project has been highly valued and won one of the three most outstanding awards in the field of culture.
The Vietnamese student expressed hopes that international organizations will know more about his upcoming projects so as he can realize his dream of building an educational fund to support Vietnamese disadvantaged pupils in pursuing their study.
Hạnh was also the founder of some other programs, such as Voluntary Footsteps and Christmas for Kids in Việt Nam.
He represented Vietnamese youth at the Youth Seminar-Global Village, UNESCO and VENRO conference and Youth Seminar – One World-One Future in Germany and Poland in 2008 and 2009, Youth Peace Forum and International Youth Reporters Fellowship Program and World Wide Knowledge in Germany in 2010 and 2011 and World Market Festival in Belgium in 2011.
The Global Experience in Việt Nam comprises 30 members implementing voluntary projects and programs to help poor children overcome difficulties to study and develop long-term solutions for improving children’s living standards.
