Vietnamese, Russian Deputy Prime Ministers hold phone conversation

Tran proposed both sides continue to maintain a mechanism for information exchange to promptly address issues arising during the implementation process of cooperation programs and projects.

He also suggested exploring the possibility of signing intergovernmental cooperation agreements in important and priority areas.

Both sides exchanged views and agreed to sign a master plan for the development of Viet Nam-Russia cooperation until 2030, and proposed a roadmap for further cooperation in areas such as industry, healthcare, agriculture, trade, and education.

The reached consensus on the principles related to cooperation in oil and gas and traditional energy sectors, a roadmap for cooperation in agriculture, and a project to establish a Russian school in Ha Noi.

The pair also outlined several measures to further promote bilateral cooperation, making it more specific and effective across various fields such as agriculture, industry, energy and oil and gas, information and communication, science and education, and culture and sports.

They pledged to enhance tourism, foster people-to-people exchanges, increase the teaching of Vietnamese and Russian in both countries, maintain scholarships for Vietnamese students, and attract more Russian students to study and conduct research in Viet Nam./.
