Vietnamese Prime Minister attends 3rd UN Ocean Conference
VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh on Monday attends major events within the framework of the third UN Ocean Conference (UNOC3) in Nice, France.

The Government chief is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son and other members of the high-ranking Vietnamese delegation.
In this morning, the Prime Minister attended the opening ceremony of the UNOC 3.
The Prime Minister co-chaired a summit on river deltas with the President of Iraq.
In the afternoon, Pham is set to deliver a speech on behalf of the 10 ASEAN member states at the plenary session of the 3rd UN Ocean Congress.
In the evening, the Prime Minister will witness the Signing Ceremony of the Agreement on the Conservation and Sustainable Use of Marine Biological Diversity of Areas Beyond National Jurisdiction, organized by the United Nations Office of Legal Affairs.
On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also hold bilateral meetings with leaders of countries and international organizations attending UNOC3.
Earlier, in the afternoon of June 8, Prime Minister Pham and senior leaders of other countries, attended the inauguration of the Whale Building at the Nice Conference Center and the science exhibition, and visited booths showcasing marine scientific works and products./.
