Vietnamese leaders congratulate India on spacecraft's successful moon landing

VGP - President Vo Van Thuong, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue separately sent letters of congratulations to their Indian counterparts on the successful landing of India's Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft on the Moon.

India’s Chandrayaan-3 is launching

Specifically, President Vo Van Thuong cabled the letter of congratulations to Indian President Droupadi Murmu.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh conveyed a congratulatory message to his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi.

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue extended congratulations to Chairman of the Rajya Sabha (the upper house of India's parliament) Jagdeep Dhankhar and Speaker of the Lok Sabha (the lower house) Om Birla.

On the occasion, Minister of Foreign Affairs Bui Thanh Son also sent his greetings to Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar.

India becomes the fourth country to successfully land a spacecraft on the moon.

India’s Chandrayaan-3 launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota Range (SDSC SHAR), India, on 14 July 2023 on a mission to demonstrate new technologies and to achieve India’s first soft landing on another celestial body./.
