Vietnamese, Indian Prime Ministers vow to further promote substantive, effective cooperation

The two Prime Ministers expressed delight at the strong development of the Viet Nam–India Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, adding that there are ample room for both sides to deepen the relationship towards a more substantive and effective manner. 

They vowed to create breakthroughs in economic, trade, and investment cooperation, foster collaboration in defense and security and transform science and technology into a key pillar of the bilateral ties.

Prime Minister Pham proposed that both sides strengthen high-level delegation exchanges, promote market access for each other's goods, and explore the possibility of signing a bilateral trade agreement.

He called on the Indian Government to encourage its major business giants to make high-quality investments in large projects in Viet Nam, especially in infrastructure, green energy, and logistics.

The two countries should establish joint research groups in science and technology where India has strength, said Pham.

Indian Prime Minister Modi voicef support for the two countries to promote high-level visits and open their markets to each other's goods amid complex developments in global trade.

The two sides pledged to enhance close coordination and mutual support at multilateral cooperation mechanisms and international organizations, especially the United Nations and the Non-Aligned Movement, contributing to peace, stability, and development in each region and around the world./.
