Vietnamese and New Zealand Prime Ministers visit Ho Chi Minh's stilt house
VGP - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern on Monday evening visited Uncle Ho's house on stilts in the Presidential Palace Relic.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh introduced to New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern about Uncle Ho's stilt house, along with the life and career of President Ho Chi Minh, a hero of national liberation and a world cultural celebrity.
Also, the Prime Ministers of the two countries viewed the artifacts and listened to stories about Uncle Ho.
Earlier in the afternoon, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh hosted an official welcome ceremony for New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern who is on an official visit to Viet Nam from November 14-17.
After the welcome ceremony, the two Prime Minister held talks, during which Prime Minister Pham affirmed that the visit to Viet Nam by Prime Minister Ardern and a high-ranking delegation of the New Zealand Government created a new impetus for the relationship between the two countries.
Viet Nam always attaches importance to cooperation with New Zealand, an essential Strategic Partner of Viet Nam in the South Pacific region and a Strategic Partner of ASEAN, Pham emphasized.
Both sides set out directions to further strengthen and deepen the Viet Nam - New Zealand Strategic Partnership in the coming time for the benefit of each country and for peace, prosperity, cooperation and development in the Asia-Pacific.
New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern assessed that Viet Nam played an increasingly important role in the region and the world.
She also expressed her thanks for the warm welcome of the Vietnamese leaders and people to the delegation and looked forward to returning to visit Viet Nam many times.
After the talks, the two Prime Ministers witnessed the signing ceremony of cooperation documents between the ministries and branches of the two countries, and then met with the press to announce the results of the talks./.
