Pham suggested the two countries effectively implement reached commitments and agreements, and soon finalize an action program on the implementation of the Strategic Partnership framework, particularly in such areas as investment, oil and gas exploration and refining, trade promotion, research on cultivating Vietnamese agricultural products in Algeria, as well as cooperation in defense, renewable energy, science and technology, and digital transformation.

Pham expressed concern over developments in the conflict in the Middle East and its serious impacts on the global economy, including Viet Nam.

He emphasized the spirit of unity to build strength, cooperation to create value, and dialogue to strengthen trust for shared development, urging Algeria to support Viet Nam in ensuring energy security by supplying crude oil and natural gas amid supply disruptions, and join hands to effectively carry out cooperation agreements between PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) and the national state-owned oil company of Algeria Sonatrach.

Ghrieb, for his side, affirmed that based on the historical ties between the two nations, Algeria will increase assistance for Viet Nam's energy security.

He vowed to actively implement the significant outcomes achieved—important steps forward in the bilateral relations, especially in the fields of investment, trade, agriculture, energy, and culture.

Noting that the two countries share many common values of peace, solidarity, equality, and development, he hailed Viet Nam's goodwill, sense of responsibility, and approach to conflicts in the Middle East as well as in other regions.

He expressed readiness to work with Viet Nam in calling on all parties to cease hostilities, de-escalate tensions, and seek peaceful solutions to conflicts worldwide./.
